Tiddles loves Rover

Rover never knew how to settle down.  Never feeling good enough to be loved.

Rover was handsome – not good looking, not pretty – but handsome in a very classic way.  But people don’t want classic, they want trendy, obviously pretty.  And as for fetching & catching – with no co-ordination, missing a thrown stick, running into trees, getting wet in a puddle….  Cute for a while but then irritating to those Rover had laid trust in.

Rover roamed, those trusted souls soon became tormentors.  There is so much distress that can be taken, so many kicks to the ribs, tail pulling,

Bur Rover never seemed to learn – always wanting, needing to be loved and to be part of something.

Tiddles, however, did not feel the need to be liked not to be the centre of attention.  Tiddles was happiest observing, being there when needed.  Some said stand-offish, others cold, an ice queen.  Just how it show be – a great chisel required to get anywhere close.

Opposites, balancing out – Tiddles loved Rover.
